Two important JCCNV International Jewish Film Festival updates

Just confirmed!
Boxer Dimitriy Salita will be joining Director Jason Hutt at Both Weekend Screenings of the Outstanding Film, “Orthodox Stance”.

The movie tells about Dimitriy’s life balancing a career as a top boxer with being an observant Jew. Dimitriy is a charming, intelligent young man and someone you will want to see. “Orthodox Stance” is screening at Cinema Arts Theater on Saturday, May 10 at 9:15pm and at the Rosslyn Spectrum on Sunday, May 11 at 2:30pm. Please join us!

Also, tickets are selling fast for the film festival closing dinner/performance and film on Thursday, May 15. It takes place at the JCCNV at 7pm, and features a deli dinner, live performance with comedienne Lisa Davis and the one-time screening of the wonderful documentary, “Making Trouble”, which tells the story of six famous American Jewish female comediennes. It’s an evening you won’t want to miss.
